Dried plums ranked #1 in antioxidant power

Looking to boost your antioxidant intake? Check out the humble dried plum (aka prune). . .

A study by Tufts University in Boston measured the antioxidant value of common fruits and vegetables and found that dried plums are the food ranked #1 in antioxidant power– and by a long shot. Using an analysis called ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) the team were able to measure the antioxidant units and compare them. And amazingly, they discovered that dried plums contain more than twice the antioxidants of blueberries (well known for its superfood status!).

Dried plums (the first ingredient in Nibble) are packed with fibre and an array of vitamins and minerals including potassium, iron, boron (needed for bone health), vitamin K and beta-carotene. They also contain over 40% less sugar than dates!
